Twisted Sisters Yarn came together in Oregon in the 1990s, when Lynne Vogel and her fiber-loving friends got together to produce exceptional hand-painted and hand-dyed yarns. Word soon spread and Twisted Sisters Yarns quickly became known for sensuous, sensational yarns using unique, one-off dyes to create spectacular color blends and outstanding, individualistic, trend setting knitting patterns.

Twisted Sisters Yarns is a collection of hand dyed, single-color yarns called Monochromatic Variegates. Twisted Sisters also dye multi-color Hand Paints to coordinate with them. Although Twisted Sisters Monochromatic Variegates come in repeatable colors, each limited edition of Hand Paints is unique, making each knitted creation something personal. Using special dyeing techniques, each Monochromatic Variegate comes in beautifully and subtle shades; each skein has a unique three-dimensional depth.
Twisted Sisters Yarn Fibers and Colors
There are 24 colors to chose from as well as different fibers; each fiber comes in 50-gram skeins.

Avarice, 100% prime alpaca (recommended needle sizes US #4-6, 3.5-4 mm);
Jazz, 100% merino (US #5-8, 3.75-5 mm);
Daktari, 100% slubbed cotton (US #6-8, 4-5mm);
Mirage, 52% rayon/48% cotton (US #4-7, 3.5-4.5 mm);
Petite Voodoo, 50% silk/50% merino wool (US #4-7, 3.5-4.5 mm); and
Voodoo, 50% silk/50% merino wool (US #6-8, 4-5 mm).
Mojo, 100% kid mohair, (US #6-8, 4 - 5mm)
Oasis, 68% rayon, 32% slubbed cotton. (US #5-8, 3.75 - 5mm)
